Less Shrinkage

This no cooking cold porcelain recipe won't shrink your creations as much as the microwave version. I hope you find this helpful, let me know if you have any questions!

Recipe:
1,5 cup starch
1 cup white glue
2 tbs baby oil
2 tbs lime juice

Combine in a bowl and knead until it forms a soft and smooth dough. Cover in plastic wrap and store in an air tight container.

  1. Can you please tell me whether there is a difference in texture between cook and no cook cp and whether one dries harder/stronger than the other? I want to make larger things and don't want them to break. Thanks

  2. She actually has done some charm and project with the no cook stuff and they turn out the same. Cooking just helps takes out the excess moisture (hence why the batch shrinks when it cooks) to prevent cracking as the piece dries. Not saying that no cook cp cracks more, just cooked cp just adds that extra precaution.

  3. Will the drying time gets longer with this recipe?
